All ok. None of us are in Leh

Quick update. As you may have read in the news, there is much craziness in Leh right now because of a “cloudburst”. We didn’t have a team in Leh at the time, we are all fine, and God’s grace has continually been shown to us in our travels. Everyone on Massah is doing great! Thanks for your prayers.

Surveys and random thoughts

You have to try really hard not see God at work in Israel. Every direction you look and every conversation you have you can see something of his handiwork. Today Massah split up into teams to talk with people through surveys to gain a better understanding of Israeli identity and to talk about spirituality and Y’shua. My group of 8 people had in depth conversations with 20 people in an hour and a half and received follow up information for 3 of these people! Its amazing that a stroll through the beach could produce so many good interactions. I recognize however that many people do not see things from my perspective and even view what we believe and do as harmful to the nation of Israel. I respond in the following way, “If we talk about the God of Israel and who this important figure of the New Testament Y’shua was, what is so awful about that?” There are times where i see clearly how necessary it is that we continue in our efforts to engage the people of this country with our message of hope even when our message is opposed. Today has been one of those days.

Joining Massah Mobile for the end of the Journey… or just the beginning

In 8 hours Aaron A. and I will be boarding a plane for the first leg of our journey back to India to join up with the Massah Mobile team.   We will be focusing our time on debriefing the project, and on covering the topics necessary for reentry.   From the logistical side of things Massah certainly has been a challenge, and I appreciate the chance to be with the team once more, to talk about both the challenges and the successes that Massah has seen over the past several months.   Please keep us in your prayers as we travel, rendezvous with the team, and lead the debrief.   Thanks for all your support and prayers!
